Well Ben has been transferred again. This time he will be the senior companion. Here are some pictures he just sent.

OPA!!! todu bom!! familia como voces esta!! eu esto bein demies com certeza!!

Well this week was so much better!! we acctualy worked and we worked realy realy hard too!!! i have not recived your pacage yet!! i hope and pray you didnt right anywhere on the outside of it that there was a camera in it if you guys did then they say you have a better chance of it getting to me if you throw it in the ocean and then having some one i know pick it up off the beach and bring it to me personaly ha ha so ya all the mail here are independant companys so they dont care if the stuf gets to you so ya if you wrote on the outside that there was something expensive in it then well JA ERA!! its a frase it makes scense here ha ha the only way that i can get things is if you put christ stickers, saint Maria stickers, crosses and stuf cuz its easy to scare them ha ha but ya and just right gift you cannot wright camera other reason in spanish and portugese camera is the same as english...

but ya the week seriously was so good we had alot of cool experiences and mom i got your letter this week so i will share a little experience with yall but first sorry if you guys feel i havent been shareing my experiences it honestly is so hard to remember them all ha ha but dont worrie i have not missed a day yet for wrighting in my journal this transfer:) so we were waiting for the buss at the end of the day on thursday and we had been waiting for alomost 30 mins and finaly a buss came that we needed but i had the strongest immpression not to get on the buss i told my comp and he said that he was having the same feeling so.... we kept waiting the next buss came about 10 mins later we got on and then the next bus stop a kid got on his name is lucas we had been teaching him in the chapel but had lost compleate contact with him and we cant go to his house because his mom is wel... the oner of a prostitute house so we are not able to teach him there and we had litteraly just lost the kid and we talked with him and it was great!!! we set a time to teach him in the chapel again and hw showed up on sat it was so so good!! but if we had been on that first buss well we would never have even known he was there!! small and simple things!! it is so neat to see how the lord seriously guides his missionarys!!! also we had a verry cool experience about the book of mormon we were knocking doors and we found a lady who let us in thinking we were jehovas wittnesses or something and when she found out we were mormons she like freaked out because about twenty years ago missionarys had taught her and she had been realy close to being baptized but she moved and she had been having dreams about the book of mormon for twenty years!!!! she doesnt live in our area she was just visiting a friend so we passed the info to the missionarys where she lives it was the coolest storie!!! the book of mormon just has such POWer!!! i love it

wow i am exited for that call!! ha ha ya broken ingles is a good way to put it ha ha my brain is right in the middle of two different languages so righting is nearly impossible but talking i think i will be alright i speak ingles almost all day on pdays with the other americans i hope you guys know that me and elder harris matts nephew are seriously best friends now and will be for the rest of our lives no doubt ha ha

PORTUGESE

ha ha so portugese is a verry difficult language to learn in case you thought it was eaisy but i am getting better and the lord is blessing me for my efforts this week in zone conference in my interview with prezidente he toldme that he has missionarys leaving this transfer who still cant speak as well as i can it was verry hummbeling for me because it has been difficult for me and they have been struggleing with it for 2 years iam great full i can speak as well as i can.
soccer ha ha i have played soccer 3 times where i have put on my shoes and played but i have not gone one day without touching a ball i love soccer so much and of coarse like i said before i have the one companion who hates it !!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh its so hard....... so ya i will be looking forward to your call i probably will not be the one to answer so be ready to hear alot of portugese ha ha just stay on the line :)

Family this christmas i want you all to realize the amazing blessings you have there in our little town of hyde park! there are people here who work their whole lives for less than 5 reals a day thats 2.50$ they have nothing here seriosly they have nothing!! i am greatfull everyday for the life that i have had living in a house that has a yard,heat,windows,carpet,air conditioning,doors,

electrisity!!! i cannot describe some of the things that i have seen here... people live with nothing the best way i can describe is to have you go out to our shed and put a little stove in the corner that burns wood and move our entire family in there if our family only had that here in brazil we would still be considered rich because we had a sorce of heat in the winter!!! i cant tell you.... its impossible to watch these people without been gratefull but the most powerfull part about it is that they are happy! they are so greatfull for everything that they do have they love the ball thats 20 years old held together with plastic bags and other garbage and they have their familys!! i love teaching people how to pray here they allways have so much more to say about what they are greatfullfor. so this year everyone realize that no matter what, be greatfull, kids here dont ask for toys they ask for a new shirt or some socks we asked one kid on saturday what he wanted and he said he wanted his mom to get the new dress she had been saving her money for! i dont know what else i cansay about it, be greatfull that you have a pair of soccer socks to strech out and hang on a tree that is covered in beautiful decerations! be greatfullfor the blankets that you have to stay warm be greatful for a bed to sleep on!! and be greatfull for your family :) i love you all so so much i miss you all but i know i am here on the lords errand :) love you allcant wait to talk with you :)
